Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has called on young Indonesians to make the most of the country’s demographic bonus to drive national progress.

Speaking at the closing of the Islamic Student Association (Hima Persis) National Plenary Meeting in Yogyakarta on Saturday (18/1/2025), he highlighted the importance of this unique opportunity as Indonesia approaches its demographic peak between 2030 and 2035.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for any nation. Countries that successfully harness this demographic advantage will prosper, while those that don’t may face long-term challenges," Chief Sigit explained, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The police chief also discussed President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's initiatives, including the nutritional food program and education reform efforts.

He also announced a collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture to plant on one million hectares of land for food self-sufficiency. He encouraged Hima Persis to join these national programs and contribute to the country’s development.
