Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesian National Police (INP) Deputy Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo received the Public Leadership Award from the Faculty of Law at Brawijaya University, recognizing his integrity and effectiveness in public service.

“Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo has demonstrated ethical and effective public leadership within a key state institution, while the late Munir inspires with his moral courage and humanitarian commitment,” said Dean Aan Eko Widiarto in Jakarta on Sunday (9/11/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The university also posthumously honored human rights activist Munir Said Thalib, a 1985 alumnus, in the Civil Society Empowerment category. The awards were presented during the event Sapa Alumni: Silaturahmi dan Penghargaan Prominen Alumni dan Pegawai attended by 300 alumni and faculty leaders.

Deputy Chief Dedi, a doctoral graduate of Brawijaya University, was recognized for advancing a professional, transparent, and human-centered police force aligned with the INPi’s transformation agenda.
