Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) on Saturday (29/11/2025) dispatched food supplies and logistical aid to disaster-affected communities across Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, responding to severe weather and ongoing emergencies.

“We are accelerating the deployment of logistics so people can survive in this emergency situation,” Deputy Assistant for Operations Inspector Laksana said at the INP Water and Air Police Headquarters in South Tangerang, as reported by antaranews.com.

The aid was flown out Saturday morning to ensure rapid use by affected residents and police personnel conducting evacuations. Supplies will first be centralized at provincial capitals before being airlifted by police helicopters to remote villages, where landing zones are being prepared by regional police units.

The INP also deployed CN and Fokker aircraft to transport essential items, including 1,500 units of aid for vulnerable groups, school supplies, ready-to-eat meals, medicine, foldable mattresses, mineral water, mosquito repellent, blankets, and life vests.

Additional equipment such as rubber boats, tents, generators, and communication devices was sent to support evacuation efforts across the three provinces.
