The Psychology Bureau of Indonesian National Police (INP) HR Division treats mental and psychological conditions of INP Mobile Brigade Corps after being assigned in Damai Cartenz Operation. The treatment aimed to heal the mental conditions of personnel following rigorous operation and for personnel to release their stress and negative emotions so that they can return to their family in good mental conditions and able to continue their task in serving the community. Assistant for Chief of INP Human Resources, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo says that several police operations bear huge risk and responsibility. This includes operations in preserving security and order in Papua, which is codenamed Damai Cartenz Ops, which could be said to be the hardest operations for police personnel involved. “Knowing that the operation has huge risk and responsibilities for one personnel to bear, our psychology bureau is ready to give its support through the SUPPORT-Psi program which aims to heal the mental and psychological conditions of personnel involved,” says Dedi on Friday (2/23/2024). Dedi states that the program has been conducted since January 25th, 2024 which involves personnel from INP Human Resources Staff, INP Mobile Brigade Corps, Police Traffic Education and Training Center Psychology bachelors, and Marine and Air Police Education and Training Center Psychology bachelors. “We aim to heal and release their negative emotions through an emotional agility method.
