inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) at the Medan Sub-regional Police Headquarters in North Sumatra on Friday (7/11.2025).

Chief Sigit inspected all SPPG facilities and also presented aid to officers in the Medan Police Headquarters SPPG kitchen to ensure the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program was running effectively.

Sigit expressed his appreciation to the North Sumatra Regional Police for their full support of the MBG program, which is one of the key priorities of the Prabowo-Gibran administration.

He explained that within the North Sumatra Regional Police, there are currently two operational SPPGs and five SPPGs undergoing verification.

"So, the current total of SPPGs, including operational, verified, and those under construction, is 36," he said.

He then advised that the implementation of MBG carried out by SPPGs within the North Sumatra Regional Police jurisdiction must be thoroughly prepared.

From raw materials to the cooking process to distribution, Sigit requested that the food safety of MBG products distributed to the community be truly guaranteed.

"The most important thing is how the SPPG truly benefits the beneficiaries. It's well-prepared, from cooking to distribution. We have a unique food security approach that is truly implemented to the best of our ability," he explained.
