inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, emphasized the importance of professionalism, digitalization, and humane service to all personnel in supporting the priority programs of INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and ensuring security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow in Indonesia.

In his direction to personnel, Agus reminded that every leadership policy must be concretely translated down to the field level. He stated that all personnel must be able to translate every instruction into concrete actions that are felt by the public.

Agus stated that the "Police Greet and Serve" program must be continuously improved across all subsectors, from registration and identification, law enforcement, to security and safety.

According to him, all these programs culminate in one main goal: to create safe, secure, orderly, and smooth traffic.

He also asked his staff to continue developing service digitalization and system transformation within the corps. Several programs of focus include the revitalization of the Indonesia Safety Driving Center (ISDC), the development of the Smart City concept, and the strengthening of technology-based law enforcement systems.

"Our digitalization process is quite good. Each work unit already has everything. It just needs to be continuously promoted and improved," he said.

Furthermore, INP Traffic Corps continues to strengthen its humanistic approach through collaboration with online motorcycle taxi communities, universities, schools, Islamic boarding schools, and cross-sector stakeholders through the five pillars of safety concept.

In his directive, Agus also asked all ranks to promote Traffic Safety Day, which is commemorated every September. He hopes educational activities such as safety riding can be further optimized to raise public awareness of road safety.
