"On Thursday (12/19), the Head of the Cultural Service will be deactivated," said Acting Head of the Jakarta Cultural Service, Budi Awaluddin on Thursday (12/19/2024).
The Jakarta Provincial Government received a notification letter from the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office regarding alleged irregularities in budget activities at the Cultural Service.
In this regard, Acting (Pj) Governor of Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi instructed the Inspectorate to investigate and investigate the 2023 Cultural Service budget activities.
From the investigation, the investigators suspected the involvement of Iwan Henry following the findings of regional losses due to non-conformities in several activity samplings. Currently, the Jakarta Inspectorate is still calculating the amount of regional losses.
"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to cooperate with the High Prosecutor's Office which is investigating and looking into this problem," explained Budi Awaluddin.
Budi Awaluddin said that the Jakarta Cultural Service office was searched by the High Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024.
The search was starting at 10:40 WIB on the 15th floor or in the Head of the Service's room, and on the 14th floor in the Head of Cultural Utilization Division's room.
The Acting Head of the Jakarta Cultural Service said that based on information from the Secretary of the Cultural Service, not only the Cultural Service office was searched, but also the Head of Cultural Utilization Division's house and the office of a third party (private).
"We are still waiting for further information regarding the problems in this case from the High Prosecutor's Office. Of course, we are ready to assist the High Prosecutor's Office in investigating this case to completion," concluded Budi Awaluddin.
