Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2026 has recorded total transactions worth US$19.51 million as of Sunday (9/11/2025), surpassing its initial target of US$10 million, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso announced.
“Transactions up to 9 November 2025 reached US$19.51 million,” he said during the JMFW 2026 closing ceremony in Jakarta, adding that the achievement reflected strong global interest in Indonesia’s Muslim fashion sector.
The four-day event, held from 6 to 9 November 2025, attracted 11,459 visitors and featured 242 exhibitors, with buyers from Malaysia, France, Italy, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Sudan, according to antaranews.com.
Now in its fifth edition since 2021, JMFW carried the theme “Essential Lab”, promoting creativity and innovation as the foundation for next year’s global Muslim fashion trends.
Minister Budi emphasized that JMFW 2026 successfully strengthened Indonesia’s position as a leading hub in the global modest fashion industry.
