inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Jayapura Sub-regional Police held free health services in several areas through the Keladi Sagu Operation Program. This activity specifically prioritized health checking and treatment for people with health problems, especially Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) and Dermatitis on Friday (4/18/2025)
The services carried out by Keladi Sagu Task Force personnel received a positive response from the community.
The medical team from Jayapura Sub-regional Police provided direct examinations, initial treatment, and education to the people who were detected to have symptoms of ARI such as coughing, shortness of breath, and runny nose, as well as symptoms of dermatitis in the form of skin irritation and infection.
Head of Keladi Sagu Operation Task Force, Senior Police Inspector Rozikin said that this activity was part of the preventive and responsive services carried out by the police, as a form of devotion to the community as a whole.
"This program is here to reach people who need health services, especially in areas with limited medical access. ISPA and dermatitis are two diseases that we often hear about occurring here, and we are ready to help," said Rozikin.
This activity also serves as a direct communication medium between the police and people, in order to build closer and stronger bonds.
In addition to health examinations and treatment, the community is also given education about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and a healthy lifestyle to prevent ARI and skin problems.
