inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. President Joko Widodo inaugurates Hasan Sadikin Hospital for Mother and Child in Bandung City, West Java Province on Thursday, August 29th, 2024.

The new building, which has 8 floors and 490 beds, is expected to become a standard reference for maternal and child health services in Indonesia.

Jokowi also appreciates the quality of the new building, which he considers equal to the five star hotels. He adds that the new facility will boost the health service quality in the country.

“This will improve our health service quality,” says President Jokowi.

The president also highlights the building’s modern spatial arrangement, furniture, and digital equipment used in the building. According to him, RSHS Bandung can be an example of quality standards for other hospitals throughout Indonesia.

Furthermore, Jokowi highlights the importance of competing with other country in health factor. He hopes with the presence of this facility in Bandung, Indonesian would not have to go abroad for quality health service.
