inp.polri.go.id - Metro Jaya Police Chief (Kapolda Metro Jaya), Inspector General M Fadil Imran, officially opened the third series of street race at Central Park Meikarta Cikarang, Bekasi Regency on Saturday (18/06/22).
A total of 565 street race participants took part in the racing event organized by Polda Metro Jaya, supported by Polresta Bekasi and Meikarta.
"This became quite special because it coincides with Bhayangkara's 76th birthday, and slowly but surely, we are starting to find this circuit or track that we can optimize to accommodate our youngsters who likes to race," explained the Two-Star General in Central Park Meikarta, Saturday (18/06/22).
Kapolda Metro Jaya, with the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) Rifat Sungkar, Meikarta President Director Reza Chatab, and the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Director, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo and the Bekasi District Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) opened the first day of the street race event.
The 400-meter-long race track is intended for the drag race class (straight track racing). On the first day of the event, the street race only held for a fun bike event‎. Meanwhile, for the second day, the organizers will hold a drag race competition and will crown the winner, runner up, and the 3rd place winners.
Previously, hundreds of participants and spectators of street races (street race) began to crowd the area in Central Park Meikarta, Cikarang, on Friday morning.
People then came to the register booth to re-register themselves. Meanwhile, spectators who have not purchased tickets can buy them at the Meikarta Central Park area.
