inp.polri.go.id – Pekanbaru. Riau Police Chief (Kapolda Riau), Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, S.I.K., M.H., motivated the community to be vaccinated by giving gifts to the participant. This is done so that the acceleration of vaccination can be carried out immediately, and people will also flock to be vaccinated. Kapolda Riau has been giving gifts and rewards for some time. This time, it was the people in Rokan Hilir Regency, who will be given gifts from the Kapolda Riau. In his visit to Rokan Hilir Police (Polres Rokan Hilir), Inspector General Pol Mohammad Iqbal, SIK, MH, and the Head of the Riau Regional Bhayangkari, Mrs. Nindya M Iqbal, gave gifts to the people while reviewing the vaccination at the Rohil Police Headquarters yard. Friday (11/3/22). For the giving of gifts to be fair, Iqbal do lottery coupons to the vaccine participants and gave gifts and prizes for motorbikes to the lucky number. On that occasion, the lucky winner was Daniel Turnip, who participated in the Elderly Vaccination. Daniel Turnip is a resident of Berkat Village, Banjar XII, Tanah Putih District. Then, Mrs. Nindya M Iqbal also pulled the lottery, where the lottery was won by a child named Sopi Maimuna, a student of Ujung Tanjung 30 elementary school. Sopi Maimuna was given a door prize for one washing machine. Kapolda Riau said that the vaccination celebration with prizes from the Rokan Hilir Police was aimed to encourage the community to be vaccinated and help the process of accelerating the vaccination in Rohil. "The Police are not alone in accelerating this program. With the presence of the Rokan Hilir Regency Government and the TNI, they can help the Police to accelerate the vaccination. For that, we together embrace the community and religious leaders, so that they can help the process of accelerating vaccinations in Rokan Hilir," said Kapolda Riau. Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, S.I.K., M.H., explained that this vaccination was carried out solely to save the public from the Covid-19 virus. “By vaccinating, we are saving human lives. Moreover, the implementation of vaccination in Rokan Hilir is quite high and deserves its praise. There is a significant increase in the first dose vaccination, but the second vaccination has only reached 70%, and the vaccination for the elderly is only 63%,” concluded Kapolda Riau.
