Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has begun selling tickets for the Whoosh high-speed train services from and to Karawang Station, effective from Tuesday (24/12/2024).

"This marks an important milestone ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays," said Eva Chairunisa, the General Manager of Corporate Secretary at KCIC, on Sunday, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Tickets for the Halim-Karawang route start at Rp 125,000 for Premium Economy class. For the Karawang-Padalarang/Tegalluar Summarecon route, prices begin at Rp 175,000. Business and First Class tickets are priced at Rp 450,000 and Rp 600,000, respectively.

KCIC also introduced a dynamic fare system for the Karawang routes. Passengers on the Karawang-Padalarang/Tegalluar Summarecon route are entitled to use the KA Feeder service connecting Padalarang Station with Bandung and Cimahi stations.

The Whoosh service will run 48 trips during the holiday period, with 20 stops at Karawang Station. Passengers are advised to prepare for boarding as the train will stop for just two minutes at Karawang.
