General Election Commissions (KPU) appoints Gatot Subrato Central Army Hospital as the hospital for prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates medical tests, in the 2024 presidential election. “The place for the medical test would be in Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital and KPU would also form medical test doctor team,” says a member of KPU, Idham Holik at KPU Media Center, Jakarta, Monday (10/16/2023). KPU explains that their team of doctors would be the one who perform medical check-up for the candidates. The medical test would be performed a day after KPU declares the candidate has complete their registration perform. “After their registration of the candidates has been received and completed, then the day after we would perform medical test on them,” says Idham. KPU has released KPU Regulation (PKPU) Number 19 of 2023 concerning Registration of Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates for the 2024 Election. The regulation states that the registration would be open from October 19th to 25th at KPU Main HQ in Jakarta. KPU will also inform the registration opening for those who are running for presidency on Wednesday (10/18), the day before the opening. The Registration would be opened from 08:00 to 16:00 for October 19th-24th, and will be closed at 23:59 on October 25th. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
