inp.polri.go.id - The Lampung Police Chief, Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, together with Governor of Lampung Arinal Djunaidi directly observed the general elections of head village in Central Lampung Regency, Wednesday (24/8/22).
The Head of Central Lampung Police, AKBP Doffie Fahlevi Sanjaya, and Regent Musa Ahmad, also the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Central Lampung, were also present to accompany Lampung Police Chief and the Governor of Lampung when visited Wates Village Hall.
The Regent of Central Lampung, Musa Ahmad, in his remarks said his welcome to the Governor of Lampung, Lampung Police Chief and ranks to Wates Vilalge in the teleconference of monitoring the simultaneous head village general elections of Central Lampung.
Musa explained that the elections were held at 82 villages spread across 27 sub-districts. Of the 82 villages, five of them were held online using e-Voting.
The five villages are Wates Village, Kalisari Village, Gunung Agung Village, Pujo Basuki Village, and Restu Buana Village.
“The total number of head village candidates are 275, consisted of 248 men and 27 women,” said Musa.
Meanwhile the Governor of Lampung, Arinal Djunaidi said that the general elections should still adhere to the health protocols.
“The general elections should paid attention to regional conditions according to the recommendations," he said.
The responsibility in the technical security lies on respective Resort Polices whp carry out the General Elections.
"The role of the Indonesian Armed Forces in this elections is to assist the Regional Government and the Police in providing security, and logistical assistance if needed," he said.
