Legal Division of National Police Held Legal Counseling in West Kalimantan Police

inp.polri.go.id - West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Suryanbodo Asmoro, officially opened Legal Counseling by the Legal Division of the National Police in the Graha Khatulistiwa room, Tuesday (23/08/22). The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chief of the West Kalimantan Police, Brigadier General Asep Safrudin, Head of the Legal Cooperation and Counseling Bureau of the National Police Legal Division, Brigadier General Viktor T. Sihombing, along with the Main Officials of the West Kalimantan Police. In his mandate, the West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief said that legal counseling activities are part of the duties and responsibilities of those carrying out the legal development function in the Police, so that the Police will always conduct their duties according to the applicable mechanisms and provisions of the law. "Ensuring that the legal products produced, both the Police Regulations and the National Police Chief Regulations, could contribute positively in efforts to achieve national goals in general and the National Police in particular," explained the West Kalimantan Police Chief. In 2014, the National Police Chief issued the National Police Chief Regulation No. 12 of 2014 concerning the formulation of the National Police cooperation arrangement, which aims to provide convenience for the Indonesian National Police to carry out cooperation with government agencies and private parties. "Discuss the technicalities of how to cooperate and how to technically hand over legal aid," said Inspector General Suryanbodo Asmoro. The Legal Division and the Legal Section, must understand the laws in Indonesia, especially the Police regulations, meaning that it is mandatory fro them to understand the law in detail.
