inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Police Strategic Studies Institute (Lemkapi) assessed that the formation of the Police Task Force to Support Food Security is a magnificent breakthrough in supporting food self-sufficiency.
"We see that currently all ranks of the Indonesian National Police (INP) are actively making various breakthroughs in realizing food security," said Lemkapi Executive Director Edi Hasibuan, Friday (11/22/24).
Executive Director Edi said that the task Force would be well received by the community, especially farmer groups and farmer volunteers in various regions because enthusiasm in the regions is quite high.
He saw that the task force received broad support because currently there are 13,217 hectares of land prepared for agriculture, livestock, and fisheries.
In addition, 34 Polda locations have 7,471 points of residents' yards that are ready to be used to plant food crops.
It is known that the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, emphasized his commitment to supporting President Prabowo Subianto's national food security program by carrying out the first planting of corn commodities in Bulang Village, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, on Wednesday (11/20/2024).
In this activity, the Chief of Police inaugurated the Police Task Force Supporting Food Security which will coordinate with all ranks of the police in the regions to sub-districts throughout Indonesia to implement the food security program.
