inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Today Eid al-Adha 1443 H in 2021 is still shrouded by Covid-19 pandemic. Various efforts continue to be made by all parties in mutual cooperation to overcome this Covid-19 pandemic situation.

Eid al-Adha celebrations is always accompanied by festive takbir, but due to Covid-19 pandemic, takbir must be carried out while still implementing health protocols.

In response to the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1443 H, Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Religion invites all Indonesian people who celebrate Eid al-Adha to jointly carry out virtual takbir akbar. The Virtual Takbir event has the theme "Together Solidarity for a Healthy Indonesia" with the hashtag #TakbirDiRumahAja and will be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo and the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin.

Further, the Ministers of Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (Menteri Kabinet Indonesia Maju), Institutional Leaders, Indonesia National Armed Forces-Indonesia National Police, Governors, elements of society, and others are scheduled to join virtually from their respective homes or locations.

The Virtual Takbir Akbar event will be broadcast by television, radio and other media, including social media. This activity is scheduled to start on Monday 19 July 2021 at 19.30 Indonesia Western Time. Let's celebrate Virtual Takbir Akbar to celebrate Eid al-Adha 1443 H in 2021.
