inp.polri.go.id -  The Maluku Regional Police successfully advanced to the grand final of the National Police Pesparawi in 2022. The vocal group of the Maluku Regional Police advanced to the final round by winning first place out of 34 participants from the regional polices throughout Indonesia and the units in National Police Headquarters. The announcement of the grand final round was delivered through a zoom meeting on Saturday (17/9/22). The announcement was attended by the coordinator of the Maluku Pesparawi team, AKP Pieter Matahelumual from Personnel Maintenance Unit of the HR Bureau and Commissioner Rachel An Barends from Maluku Regional Police Legal Affairs. "Of the 34 participants who took part in the National Police Pesparawi, we advanced to the grand final by winning the Mixed Vocal Group category," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Police, Commissioner M. Rum Ohoirat. For the vocal group category, there were three teams that advanced to the grand final. The Maluku Regional Police is in first place, while the second is from the East Nusa Tenggara Police, while the third is from the Policewomen School. "Furthermore, the three teams will compete in the grand final at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta on September 23, 2022," add the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Police. The vocal group of the Maluku Regional Police itself managed to advance to the grand final after singing the song "Doa Kami". “This song was composed by Bung Berce Matulapelwa who is also the coach of the team," said Commissioner Ohoirat further.
