The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police strengthened school-based anti-bullying initiatives through its "Police Caring for Education" (Polisi Peduli Pendidikan) program, visiting SDN Rawa Barat 09 Pagi elementary school in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Monday (26/10/2026).

The educational outreach was led by the Director of Women and Children Protection and Human Trafficking Crimes at the Metro Jaya Police, Senior Superintendent Rita Wulandari Wibowo, who served as the flag ceremony inspector.

Addressing the students, she emphasized the importance of mutual respect, eradicating bullying, and fostering healthy peer relationships within the school environment.

Chief Rita encouraged students to speak up and report incidents immediately to teachers or parents if they experience or witness acts of bullying or violence. Students were also educated on personal physical boundaries and instructed to seek immediate help if subjected to inappropriate physical contact.

"Children must have the courage to say no to actions that make them feel uncomfortable or threatened," she said. "If you experience or witness bullying or violence, report it immediately to your teachers or parents so you can receive assistance and protection."

Following the flag ceremony, police officers conducted interactive sessions with fifth- and sixth-grade students, discussing national values, Pancasila principles, basic traffic safety, such as wearing helmets when riding passengers on motorcycles, and the institutional role of the police.
