Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Investigators from the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have finalized the estimated state loss in the alleged corruption case involving former officials of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Based on an official audit by the Jakarta Representative of the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the financial loss is recorded at Rp 5.94 billion, primarily linked to fraudulent official travel warrants known as Surat Perjalanan Dinas.
"The investigation was initiated following an official report from the Ministry, supported by a BPKP audit. While initial reports suggested a loss of Rp9 billion, our deep-dive investigation and witness testimonies confirmed the state loss at Rp5.94 billion," said Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, the Head of Public Relations for the Metro Jaya Police, on Wednesday (28/1/2026), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The police have officially named two suspects in the case, identified as IM, a former high-ranking official, and DSD. The alleged criminal activities occurred over a four-year period between 2020 and 2024.
