Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Profession and Security Unit of the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police has prohibited police personnel from displaying a lavish lifestyle in public or on social media, emphasizing a requirement for simplicity to uphold the integrity of the institution.
“Every police officer must protect the dignity of the organization by living modestly. Do not flaunt luxury, whether in real life or online,” said Metro Jaya Police’s Head of Profession and Security Senior Superintendent Radjo Alriadi Harahap during a technical working at the Metro Jaya Police’s Convention Hall on Tuesday (25/11/2025).
Radjo noted that the ban is mandated under Police Regulation (Perpol) No. 7/2022, requiring officers to adopt modest behavior while representing the institution, according to antaranews.com
The meeting also included dissemination of the Whistle Blowing System (WBS) and the national complaint system SP4N Lapor, which allow public and internal reporting of suspected violations. About 250 personnel from supervisory units participated in the session.
