inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police said that the recruitment of 57 former KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) employees is being finalised. Police even have formulated positions for all 57 people. "Yes, we have. Police have positioned them. Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) has provided which positions could be filled by those 57 former KPK employees", Chief of Public Information of PR Division of National Police, Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said in National Police Headquarter on Tuesday (23/11/2021). The one-star general stated that all 57 positions are not only placed in investigation agencies. Police will position them in accordance with their former position at KPK. "Because not all 57 former employees of KPK are investigators. There are also from planning, human resources, and security departments. We will adjust the position with their former positions in KPK", he continued further. Chief of Public Information Bureau also said that Police is finalising legal protection of the recruitment, and the legal protection would maintain recruitment's legality. "We hope the legal protection would be issued soon, and the recruitment could be started. The main thing is, Police has prepared everything well and avoid legal problems in the future", he said. Police have no target on finalising the recruitment, but holding to "the sooner, the better" solution. "The principle is the sooner, the better.
