In this book, said Sigit, there are many monumental works from legendary figures of retired officers and heroes of the National Police to become a valuable legacy for members of the National Police to become role models in terms of thoughts and ideas. "The former Banten Regional Police Chief also likened the Municipal Police to National Police like a family as parents, children and brothers and sisters. Because, knowledge and inheritance from parents and siblings," said Sigit. So that the Police can become an institution that still exists, is trusted and is close to the community. "We also hope to be able to enforce the law professionally and provide a sense of justice in society," he said. With the program that he created, Transformation Towards a Precise Police is intended to face the challenges, developments and threats of the Indonesian National Police at this time. The Police are continuing to carry out control measures, from accelerating vaccination to maintaining health protocols. "Indeed, the Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the life of the nation, resulting in a contraction related to economic growth, which we inevitably have to control," he said. However, Sigit conveyed that thanks to the hard work of the National Armed Forces and National Police, all elements of society and, of course, the Municipal Police, Indonesia were able to pass the crisis phase of the Covid-19 number, which had touched the daily figure of 56,000 in July 2020. "Thank God, thanks to the hard work of all the National Armed Forces and National Police, all elements of society and also the contribution of the Municipal Police is hard work in helping to accelerate vaccination, today we have reached a pretty good number where the daily rate of 250 cases, positive rate of 0.12 and BOR of 2.9 percent is below WHO standards," he said. With the Covid-19 numbers starting to be under control, Sigit said that Indonesia had started to carry out both national and international events. This opens the hope that Indonesia's economic growth will increase again after being hit by Covid-19 for a year and a half. Praise to the Lord, we have experienced positive economic growth. Where other countries, other countries are still experiencing contractions. "This is all thanks to the hard work and support of seniors so that we Police are in conditions and situations amid uncertainty, and we are still contributing to taking the best steps for the community," he said. Furthermore, the four-star general explained the efforts of the National Police to remain an open institution and ready to accept public criticism so that they can become better. One of them is by holding a mural competition and an oration competition. "The National Police is ready to become a modern organization that always opens itself up, continues to improve and moves from our comfort zone so that we are not left behind as a modern organization," he said. He also expressed his gratitude for the survey results by one of the institutions that placed the National Police with a reasonably high level of public trust, namely 80.2 percent. As a result, he became the number one law enforcement agency. This figure, said Sigit, was the highest during the National Police's record. According to him, this figure is the result of the hard work of all National Police members and, of course, the support of senior Municipal Police. They continue to support and pray for National Police. "On the one hand, this number is a burden for us to continue to maintain and try to improve," he said.
