inp.polri.go.id - Banten. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated several new facilities at the Banten Regional Police. One of the new facilities inaugurated with the signing of an inscription was the Banten Regional Police Mosque.

General Sigit stated that the mosque is expected to serve more than just supporting and supplementing police duties, but also become a place to strengthen ties with religious leaders and religious scholars.

"I hope this facility can improve police services for the public, while also boosting the faith of police personnel," said the Chief of Police at the Banten Regional Police on Tuesday (8/12/2025).

He stated that the new Banten Regional Police Mosque is also expected to be used by the general public. 

"We hope the new mosque will not only be used for police activities, but also for joint activities with religious scholars and the community. Hopefully, it will be a beneficial place for both religious and other activities, including providing spiritual guidance and supporting the maintenance of public order and security," hoped INP Chief.
