inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, admitted that there has been no directive regarding the second phase of the Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU). He stated that he is still awaiting new direction or policies from President Prabowo.
"Until now, there has been no specific directive or policy regarding the second phase of the BSU. So it can be assumed that there is none yet," he said, as reported by RRI, Tuesday (10/14/25).
He explained that the previous BSU program was implemented from June to July 2025. However, there has been no further decision regarding the distribution of the next phase.
"There was a plan for June and July. But until now, there has been no directive from the President regarding the BSU," he said.
Previously, rumors of the BSU disbursement in October 2025 had been circulating on social media. Many posts claimed that the second phase of the BSU assistance funds would be disbursed soon.
The Ministry of Manpower urges the public to be more cautious and not easily believe news that does not come from official sources. The regulation explains that BSU recipients must meet several criteria.
These include being an Indonesian citizen with a National Identification Number (NIK), being an active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participant until April 2025, and having a maximum monthly income of IDR 3.5 million.
The amount of assistance provided is IDR 300,000 per month for two months, paid in a lump sum for a total of IDR 600,000. The Minister of Manpower confirmed that the Ministry will await official direction from the President before taking further action.
