North Maluku Regional Police Led the 2025 Ketupat Operation Preparation Roll Call

inp.polri.go.id - North Maluku. The North Maluku Regional Police Chief, Brigadier General Waris Agono, along with the Vice Governor of North Maluku Sarbin Sehe, led the roll call for the 2025 Kieraha Ketupat Operation preparation on Friday (3/20/2025) at Perikanan Bastion Field.

In his speech, Waris read out the message from the Chief of Police, General of Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., who emphasized that Operation Ketupat 2025 is a manifestation of the commitment of the Police and related agencies in ensuring the smooth and safe flow of homecoming and Eid celebrations.

Based on a survey by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, the potential for community movement during the 2025 Eid holiday is estimated to reach 146.48 million people, which is equivalent to 52% of the total population of Indonesia.

The government has prepared various policies to support the smooth flow of homecoming, including discounts on tickets and tolls, work from anywhere policies, and extensions of school holidays.

In the 2025 Ketupat Operation, the Indonesian National Police (INP) together with the military and related stakeholders will deploy 164,298 joint personnel assigned to 2,835 security, service, and integrated posts at various strategic points.

In addition, as many as 126,736 security objects, including mosques, tourist attractions, shopping centers, terminals, ports, train stations, and airports, are also a priority in this operation.
