inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Special Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Regional Police determined Deden alias Endik Siswanto as the suspect for adulterating 12 Kg LPG gas cylinders in Bekasi, West Java.

Director of Special Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak explained that this case was uncovered starting from information from the public that there was an empty land on Bintara Jaya, West Bekasi. The empty land was used as a storage place for the 12kg LPG gas cylinders. The gas was unlicensed and it was suspected that the volume contents did not match the label.

“Following the report, we sent our team to the location on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 23.30 pm,” says Ade in his written statement on Friday (3/21/2025).

Upon arrival at the location, he said, a pickup truck was found carrying 30 12kg LPG gas cylinders. There, police questioned the driver, Tri Reci Zurel, and his partner M. Yusup about the gas cylinders.

After being interrogated, he explained, the suspect admitted that the 12kg LPG gas cylinders were the result of a criminal act of transferring the contents of subsidized 3kg LPG gas cylinders to the 12 kg LPG gas cylinders.

According to the Director, they admitted that they had just taken LPG gas from Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, which was suspected to be the result of adulteration. The LPG gas had also been weighed and the measurements were found to be inappropriate.
