Inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police have extended trauma healing support to the grieving family of a murder case in Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang.
A trauma healing team from the North Sumatra Police Human Resources Bureau visited the victims’ parents to express condolences and provide emotional support, said North Sumatra Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Hadi Wahyudi on Friday (13/12/2024).
“We are committed to supporting the family both legally and emotionally as part of our moral responsibility,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com, emphasizing that the case is a priority for the police, promising a fair and thorough legal process against the perpetrator.
The community has welcomed the North Sumatra Police’s efforts, expressing sympathy for the victims’ family and appreciation for the police’s compassion.
The case involves suspect RS (40), who fatally stabbed two toddlers, identified DS (2) and OS (3), and critically injured their sibling NOS (6) on Monday. The suspect reportedly acted out of resentment, claiming he was frequently mocked by the victims.
