The North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi says that the International Event of F1 Powerboat in Balige City was going smoothly. “On the first day of the F1 Powerboat, me and the Regency Government of Toba, the event committee, and the Regional Ops Task Force of F1 Powerboat have seen all personnel have performed their duties excellently,” said the Inspector General Agung on Saturday (3/2/2024). He continued that in the future, the North Sumatra Regional Police and the ranks will continue to improve their security system and made breakthroughs in securing the F1 Powerboat more efficiently and effectively. He says that in securing the F1 Powerboat international event, his party collaborates with the Bukit Barisan I Regional Military Command, National Search and Rescue Agency, and Regional Government. Moreover, the Two-Star General states that other than installing the Face Recognition technology, his unit also dispatch technological advanced boats to secure the event. In the end of his statement, he implores people to use the Super Apps Polri app or 110 emergency call for quick service from members during the international event. (ad/sy/pr/nm)
