The North Sumatra Regional Police prepares 14 ambulances to support the medical sector of F1 Powerboat in Balige City.   “Of the 14 ambulances, one is provided to support the F1 Powerboat participants, and the other 13 are to serve public and tourists coming to see the tournament,” said the Health and Medical Division of North Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Harry in Balige City on Friday (3/1/2024).   Harry explains that the one ambulance his party provided for F1 Powerboat participants is in the trauma center.   “The ambulances that we prepared are ready to treat and evacuate the emergency patients to the Porsea Hospital or Haji Adam Malik Hospital,” said Harry.   Furthermore, Harry claims that the ambulance prepared by his party has the international standard facility, which are central oxygen, ventilators, and trauma center treatment tools.   “We also involved 10 medics to help us in the trauma center,” adds Harry.   Meanwhile, the other 13 ambulances were spread into locations not far from the tournament arena, whose purpose is to serve the people and tourists.   Moreover, his party also dispatched 40 medics which were divided into four teams. They were scattered around the venue, with one stationed in the trauma center and one team patrolling the venue.   (ad/mz/pr/nm)
