The Logistic Director of F1H20 (Powerboat), Alec Cavallero, conveys his gratitude for the extraordinary security provided by the North Sumatra Regional Police and the ranks.   “The situation is very safe and secure. Hopefully we could hold the Powerboat and Aquabike tournament in Balige for the third time so that we could also further promote the magnificent Lake Toba,” he said on Saturday (3/2/2024).   Alec acknowledged that the F1 Powerboat in Lake Toba in Bale City, has become much easier to prepare as they have the full support of all stakeholders.   For the record, North Sumatra Regional Police has dispatched 1,170 personnel to secure the international event of F1 Powerboat in Balige City. During the event, the security was implemented with international standards and was divided into several rings.   “We also learned various things in local places, awareness for the local culture while at the same time also learned on what we really need while we’re here,” said Alec.   (ad/ta/pr/nm)
