inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rudi Darmoko, attended the High-Level Meeting of the NTT Provincial Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) held at the Neo Aston Kupang Hotel on Tuesday (7/15/2025).
The meeting was chaired by the Acting Governor of NTT, Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena and attended by members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), representatives from Bank Indonesia, BPS, Bulog, and heads of other technical agencies.
The meeting in-depth discussed concrete steps to control inflation in NTT, particularly in the lead-up to important events such as the new school year, religious holidays, and the dynamics of food distribution between regions.
Rudi highlighted the Indonesia National Police's (INP) commitment, particularly the NTT Regional Police, to fully support inflation control efforts, including monitoring the distribution of staple foods, handling disturbances to public order and security that impact price stability, and active involvement in safeguarding regional policies.
"The NTT Regional Police are ready to collaborate and provide operational support to maintain price stability, ensure secure distribution of goods, and prevent potential hoarding or practices that harm the public," explained the NTT Regional Police Chief.
Through this cross-sectoral synergy, the NTT Provincial TPID hopes to maintain stable prices for basic necessities, strengthen food security, and improve the overall welfare of the community.
