Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has announced an ambitious expansion of the national Digital Learning Program, targeting the installation of roughly one million smartboards, known as interactive flat panels (IFPs), across schools nationwide starting next year.
The initiative builds on accelerated device distribution launched in mid-2025.
“Next year, God willing, we will install around one million panels,” the President said during the program’s rollout at SMPN 4 junior high school Bekasi, West Java, on Monday (17/11/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
He noted early signs of progress but urged his administration not to become complacent. He emphasized the need for richer, globally sourced educational content and directed the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to form a special team to curate and adapt international learning materials, including animations, for Indonesian students.
According to government data, 215,572 devices have been shipped, with 172,550 already delivered to schools. Teacher training has reached 64,000 participants, supported by 1,450 Digital Education Fellows and LPDP alumni assisting schools in adopting interactive learning tools.
