inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate explains that one of the murderers of a grandma in Bekasi Regency is a recidivist.

“The suspect with the initials of DA is a recidivist of motor theft and drug criminal and he was just released three months ago,” says Metro Jaya Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Director, Senior Superintendent Wira Satya Triputra on Monday (2/17/2025).

In his statement, DA got a million from the total of IDR 11 million from the victim as he is the mastermind behind the robbery and the one who points out the target house.

“Then MR and AG got IDR 4.5 million each as they are the executor of the robbery, who also tied the victim and choked her to death,” explains Wira.

Meanwhile NM and RY each got IDR 500,000 as they act as the driver for MR and AG.

On the other hand, Superintendent Abdul Rahim reveals that the criminals are close friends to each other.

“After further investigation, we found that the leftovers of IDR 150,000 were shared to their families and for them to run away,” explains Abdul Rahim.

Previously, police managed to arrest the five suspects allegedly for murdering a grandma with the initials of B (71) in Bekasi Regency.

The arrested suspects are charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code on theft with violence or Article 338 of the Criminal Code on the crime of ordinary murder, with a maximum sentence of life imprisonment or 15 years in prison.
