The Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the National Mandate Party (PAN) has suspended Eko Hendro Purnomo, also known as Eko Patrio, and Surya Utama, also known as Uya Kuya, as members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) starting Monday, September 1, 2025.

This was announced by PAN through a press release signed by PAN General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan and PAN Secretary General Viva Yoga Mauladi on Sunday.

PAN stated that they are committed to maintaining the honor, discipline, and integrity of people's representatives from PAN in carrying out their constitutional duties in the DPR RI.

"PAN urges the public to remain calm, patient, and place full trust in the government led by President Prabowo Subianto," Viva told reporters in Jakarta on Sunday (8/31/2025).

He asked the public to trust that President Prabowo would resolve this issue appropriately, quickly, and always side with the people for the future progress of the Indonesian nation.

PAN is also committed to continuing to listen to and champion the aspirations and interests of the community to become government policies and programs that are in line with the community's aspirations and can directly benefit the community.

"This press release is hereby issued along with an apology to all Indonesian people so that they can reorganize for future struggles," Viva apologized.
