Papua Regional Police send reinforcement to Ndeotadi 99 Police Post in light of the recent attack of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB). “Yes, we have sent 30 Mobile Brigade assigned personnel to Paniai,” says Head of Papua Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ignatius Benny Ady on Monday (3/25/2024). According to him, other than sending reinforcement, Indonesian National Police also extend their patrol duration. The initiative was taken to ensure locals could carry on their daily activities as usual. Furthermore, joint personnel of police and military continuously pursue KKB members who attacked the police post. The attack killed two police members who were on duty. “We are still investigating the case and gathering the evidence,” said the PR Chief in conclusion. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
