inp.polri.go.id – Jayawijaya. The diverse flora and fauna of Papua has been the attractiveness of Papua province. In order to sustain the diversity, bee cultivation is required. Besides to quickens pollination, honey production becomes a commodity to help the economy of Native Papuans.
Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken), through the KASUARI programme (Welfare for the People), has the superiority to help farmers communities in Papua, including honey bee cultivation that has been supported by Binmas Noken of Jayawijaya.
Just like the one conducted by Police Commissioner Attendant Harbani Paruki, Police Chief Brigadier Yan H Mnsen, Police Brigadier Jhon S Rewang, who visited Mr Riki Lani in Yagara village, Walesi district, Jayawijaya regency, on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 10.00.
The activity was started by the visit of Binmas Noken at the honey bee farm founded by Binmas Noken and greeted by the wife of Mr Riki Lani. The farm was in good condition.
The Binmas Noken personnel also gave advice on security and order to Mr Riki Lani to help Armed Forces and Police to maintain the security and order situation in approaching Christmas on December 25, 2021, and New Year on January 1, 2022, so that Yagara village stays safe and conducive.
Besides, the Binmas Noken personnel reminded the family of Mr Riki that Coronavirus had not ended yet. Therefore, they advised the family to adhere to government suggestions in Coronavirus prevention and follows New Normal rules by obeying Health Protocols.
They also advised not to be influenced by untrue issues and news and not to follow irresponsible groups who could harm themselves, their families, and the country.
The family of Mr Riki Lani warmly welcomed the visit of Binmas Noken and received well messages of security and order, and they are willing to cooperate with Binmas Noken and support the programmes of Binmas Noken.
