Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo explained that the fines still apply to the online taxis because they do not have any special characteristics that distinguish them from other vehicles. Therefore, his party will hold a coordination meeting with related parties to discuss the special characteristics of online taxis so that they are not ticketed in 26 odd-even areas. One of the talks is about giving special stickers to online taxis to differentiate them from other vehicles. "In the near future we can held a meeting to discuss that issue. It's just that, if online taxis want to be given a sticker so they can be distinguished, the question is who will issue this sticker? If they can be sold freely, all of people will most likely put the stickers on," explained Dirlantas. It was reported that Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya has expanded the application of odd-even system which was originally only valid at 13 points, into 26 areas in Jakarta.
