It is undeniable that the 6.2 SR earthquake that occurred in 2021 still holds fear and trauma for the people, especially for the peopel of Mamuju Community, which was the area with the most casualties at that time. In anticipating the emergence of disease for the displaced residents, the West Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda Sulbar) deployed a medical team to carry out medical checks and distribute vitamins in the refugee camps. "They are very susceptible to contracting diseases because they live in refugee camps occupied by many people coupled with the lack of clean water sources," said Head of the Medical Team of Polda Sulbar, Commissioner Asmarahadi, when met during the examination. He also asked the community to immediately report to the health authorities if they saw and heard that there were refugees who were having a serious disease. "If anyone feels his health condition is very bad, don't ignore it, immediately report it to the medical team or to the earthquake emergency service that we have prepared at the Bhayangkara Mamuju Rumkit," concluded Asmarahadi.
