inp.polri.go.id – The Chairperson of IYCN, Fadli Rumakefing, considered that the National Police Chief (Kapolri), Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., has brought many changes to the Indonesian National Police (Polri) since he was sworn by President Jokowi in 2021. According to him, one of them is the Precision Police program which shows an intellectual attitude in serving the community. This was stated by Fadli during a public discussion and review of the Indonesian National Police Chief's book “A Step of Change, a Precise One Year Police Record” held at the Sofyan Menteng Hotel, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (7/6). "This discussion and book review is part of our appreciation for the one-year performance of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo as Kapolri," Fadli explained in a statement in Jakarta. Fadli said that the idea of the Precision Police started from the reflection on the increasingly complex situations and challenges in this modern times. The Vision of Precision Police promoted by Kapolri General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is considered positive by various parties. Precision, which stands for predictiveness, responsibility, transparency, and justice, makes police services more integrated, modern, easy, and fast. Moreover, Fadli also said that Listyo Sigit Prabowo had just made a history. According to him, the work of Kapolri, which is outlined in the form of a book, will continue to be literacy throughout the ages from generation to generation. "Citing the words of wisdom said by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, people can be smart as high as the sky, but as long as they don't write, they will be lost in society," quoted Fadli Rumakefing on his commend of Kapolri.
