inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The family of young diplomat Arya Daru Pangayunan (ADP) is preparing new evidence and expert witnesses to be submitted directly to investigators of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police next week.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday (10/16/2025) at the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Headquarters.
"They will be present in full, and will be welcomed directly by the General Crimes Directorate, specifically the Mobile Brigade Sub-Directorate, to present the results of the crime scene investigation and the progress of the investigation so far," said the Head of the Public Information Sub-Division of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Superintendent Reonald Simanjuntak, to reporters on Friday (10/10/2025).
Meanwhile, the attorney for Arya Daru's family, Dwi Librianto, confirmed that his team is ready to provide new data that is believed to help uncover the truth behind the death of the young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He also revealed that his team will bring additional evidence and present expert witnesses to provide forensic and legal opinions regarding the results of the investigation that have been announced by the police.
"We will discuss how this case can be revealed. If we can dig deeper, that's what we'll push for," he said.
Furthermore, the family is also urging investigators to return to the scene of Arya Daru's death, his boarding house in the Menteng area of Central Jakarta. This step was taken because the legal team was only appointed two months after ADP's death and has never personally visited the scene.
