inp.polri.go.id - Batam. The Director of Narcotics Criminal Investigation at the Riau Islands Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Suyono, stated that his team is still investigating the methamphetamine supplier to the Head of the Moro Community Health Center, despite the implementation of restorative justice (RJ).

The drug abuse case involving Doctor BSS, the Head of the Moro Community Health Center, has been resolved through restorative justice mechanisms, with the sanction of mandatory three months of inpatient rehabilitation.

"Yes, we are still conducting further investigations into the origin of their goods (methamphetamine). Our officers are currently in the field tracing the results of the arrests made some time ago," Suyono said in Batam on Friday (2/27/2026).

The Head of the Moro District Community Health Center, Doctor BSS, was arrested by the police on Thursday (2/19/2026) following the arrest of suspect M.

Suspect M was a receiver of stolen vehicles in the Moro District. During the arrest, investigators found nine packages of methamphetamine weighing 1.18 grams, which the suspect admitted belonged to Doctor BSS.

Based on M's statement, investigators then detained Dr. BSS. A search revealed no evidence of methamphetamine, but a methamphetamine smoking device (bong) was found, and a urine test came back positive.

On Tuesday (2/24/2026), Dr. BSS underwent an assessment at the Riau Islands Province National Narcotics Agency (BNN), attended by the Integrated Assessment Team (TAT) from the BNN, the Riau Islands Regional Police, and the local Prosecutor's Office.

The TAT results required Dr. BSS to undergo inpatient rehabilitation at the Riau Islands National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) for three months.

Based on the TAT results, investigators resolved the case through restorative justice mechanisms. Consequently, on Wednesday (2/25/2026), Dr. BSS was handed over to the Riau Islands National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) Rehab Center.
