inp.polri.go.id -  The Head of the Dogiyai Police, Commissioner Samuel D. Tatiratu stated thatt he police managed to secure, LB, the perpetrator who was suspected of assaulting members of the Moanemani Military District Command, Tuesday (10/25/22). The police chief explained that at the time of his arrest, the perpetrator had retaliated although he was finally able to be secured and taken to the Dogiyai Resort Police. "Other personnel will be deployed around the city to immediately neutralize potential disturbances due to this arrest. They will patrol around the city and checking around the community to confiscate dangerous weapons," explained the Police Chief who also led the arrest operation. For the time being, LB is detained at the Dogiyai Police Headquarters and further investigation will be carried out to explore his involvement in the assault of Indonesian Army members. "If the criminal elements are met, we will proceed to the investigation stage based on applicable legal procedures," explained the Dogiyai Police Chief, quoted from the official Polri website. On those occassion, Dogiyai Police Chief also stated that they had gathered the identity of the suspect based on the statements of witnesses and victims.
