inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Police have revealed the identity of the female body found in a drum in the Cisadane River. The characteristics of the body indicate that the victim was a woman aged around 25-30.

Tangerang Metropolitan Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Raden Jauhari, stated that the body was already decomposed when it was discovered. An autopsy revealed signs of violence.

"Signs of violence were found on the victim's body. We will compare these during further investigation," said Raden on Monday (7/28/2025).

According to him, the follow-up process will involve DNA testing to determine the victim's identity. Investigators will also compare the victim's data with the family who reported the missing person.

"We are trying to obtain fingerprints and facial recognition, and thank God, we have a suspicion, an initial suspicion of the victim's identity, which we are currently working to match," he explained.
