Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have recovered a black Toyota Vios sedan belonging to Brigadier General (ret.) Hendrawan Ostevan, a retired Indonesian Military (TNI) official and former National Intelligence Agency (BIN) member, in the waters of Marunda, North Jakarta, on Saturday (18/1/2025).
“The car was found around 10 a.m. near the area where Hendrawan’s body was discovered,” said Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The car, with license plate B 1606 LB, was retrieved by a joint team from Basarnas, Polairud Polda Metro Jaya, and Polres Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. The vehicle will undergo a forensic examination for further investigation.
CCTV footage revealed that Hendrawan drove the car into the KCN Marunda pier on 10 January 2024 before it plunged into the sea. Police confirmed he was driving alone and had traveled through Tangerang, Bogor, Senen, and Cilincing before arriving in Marunda.
