Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Soekarno-Hatta Airport City SUb-regional Police in Tangerang,filed a Red Notice request with Interpol on Wednesday (27/5/2026)for a fugitive identified as LA, accused of recruiting and sending Indonesian migrant workers illegally to Cambodia.

“So far, the Red Notice has been submitted for follow-up with Interpol,” said Soekarnot-Hatta Airport Police Chief Senior Superintendent Wisnu Wardana. 

Suspect LA, a woman from Bangka Belitung, fled abroad after being placed on the wanted list.

Investigators revealed the case after intercepting two women, identified as AG from Garut and SP from North Jakarta, at Terminal 3 on 17 January2026. They admitted being recruited via social media and promised jobs as online gambling administrators in Cambodia with salaries of Rp 10 million per month.

Police have foiled 89 illegal departures to Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand between January and May 2026. Suspects face up to 10 years in prison and fines of Rp 15 billion under the Migrant Worker Protection Law.
