inp.polri.go.id - Bekasi City. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police confirms the finding of a corpse at a cemetery in KH Noer Ali street, Bekasi City.

"True, (a body was found) in the cemetery," explained the Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, on Tuesday (1/13/2026).

He stated that the victim's identity is still unknown. The victim was found wearing jeans and a gray long-sleeved shirt.

He explained that the victim was found on Sunday (1/11/2026) at around 3:00 PM while people were visiting the cemetery. The victim's body was found in a pile of leaves, and it is suspected to be a homicide due to the wounds on his neck and bruises on his face.

The case is currently being handled by the Bekasi City Metropolitan Police.
