inp.polri.go,id - Bukittinggi. Bukittinggi Sub-regional Police evacuated a man who was found at Aur Kuning street, Guguak Panjang District. The body’s identity was unknown and allegedly was from Lubuk Linggau, South Sumatra.

"His identity was known from the IPS Unit Identification Handle tool named Dini Napiah (22). The body was first found by residents on Friday (4/18/2025) night," explained Bukittinggi  Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Yessi Kurniati as quoted by Antara, Saturday (19/4/25).

The evacuation process, she said, was carried out after her standby officers received a report. They then went straight to the location where the body was found.

"There were no signs of violence that resulted in the victim's death. The victim is suspected of dying from illness," said Yessi.

She added that investigators had examined several witnesses and also checked CCTV footage around the location. There, the victim was found walking on the sidewalk and then suddenly fell down.
