inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Metro Jaya Regional Police currently is investigating the sexual abuse of Darussalam An’nur Orphanage that involves three of its officials.

Police have examined all of the criminal aspects of the case, including the operational fund source of the orphanage.

The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi says the investigations involve many parties.

“The operational fund source is one of the case elements that we are investigating in collaboration with related institutions,” says Ade on Sunday (10/13/2024).

In his official statement, he says that the orphanage has been operating since 2006 without a permit from the Social Ministry.

This issue added to the case complexity as the orphanage operational has not been meeting the applicable legal requirements for 18 years.

On the other hand, Ade reaffirms his party commitment in uncovering the case completely, not only on the criminal aspect of the case, but also the other aspect of the case, such as its legality and where the funds came from.
